The "FIFA 11+" program was introduced in 2010 to prevent injuries in soccer players. Since then many soccer associations world wide have included it in their practice and game schedule. The program consists of progressive warm up drills and strengthening exercises to be performed before a practice or game.
The program is divided into the following three parts:
Part 1 - running exercises at slow speed with active range of motion exercises and controlled partner contact
Part 2 - strengthening exercises for core and lower body and balance and plyometric exercises
Part 3 - running exercises as fast speed with agility
