Emma completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology degree at the University of Alberta in August 2026 and is set to graduate in November 2026.

Emma’s interest in fitness and rehabilitation began in high school where she began competing in Olympic weightlifting and found herself battling some injuries from rugby. Throughout this time, Emma has gained a deeper appreciation for how fitness and rehabilitation go hand in hand. Emma joined the Hawkstone team in August 2024 as part-time staff while she completed school and is now a full-time exercise therapist. Growing up, she played all kinds of sports but focused her time on hockey, rugby, and Olympic weightlifting. With many injuries of her own and an interest in rehabilitation, she plans to go back to school to pursue a career in the health care field. 

Outside of the clinic you can find Emma in the gym weightlifting or spending time with family and friends.
