Danica grew up in Edmonton playing competitive sports and found a passion for Physical Therapy while competing in soccer and volleyball at the collegiate level. There were many instances of sport injuries that occurred to her teammates and opponents, and she realized how integral physical therapy was to the sporting community. With this in mind, she decided to pursue a career in rehabilitation, so she obtained her Master of Science in Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Alberta.

Danica enjoys treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions. She strives to help clients live a pain-free active lifestyle and will respectfully listen to client concerns carefully.

Danica is a dedicated professional who believes in empowering people through education, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise. Whether their goals are to return to sport, work, or daily activities, Danica creates individualized treatment programs for each client to support them and improve their function.

Outside of the clinic, Danica is currently working with Volleyball Canada as the Physiotherapist for the National Men’s Sitting Volleyball Team. Additionally, Danica enjoys going to the gym, playing many recreational sports, and spending quality time with friends and family outdoors, whether it be a camping trip or hiking in the mountains.
